about the project:

Jacque + Garret make up the couple behind Homemade Scratch. They are long-time friends of mine and I was so excited when they came to me about transforming their cooking blog. They both love being in the kitchen and finding creative ways to build a more wholesome life.

We wanted to keep the overall feel of their brand rustic and organic while still refined. I created a collection of hand-drawn elements, adding to the organic vibe. Their sophisticated color palette and whimsical design elements keep the brand approachable but trustworthy.
