Mother Madre Bees

Mother Madre Bees is more than a candle brand. It’s a quiet revolution in wax and flame — a space where women are empowered to step into their futures with courage and softness, and where the humble honeybee is honored as both muse and partner. When founder Finnigan came to us, her candles were already selling out through wholesale but she was ready for something bigger - a DTC brand that reflected the heart behind the product. A story. A home. A name people would remember.

We led Mother Madre through a full brand transformation—developing everything from strategy to packaging, a Shopify site, and art direction for their brand + product shoot. The result is a brand that’s not just warm and curated, but alive with meaning.

The Vision

Rooted in reverence for bees, womanhood, and the quiet rituals of self-care, the Mother Madre Bees brand strategy was built to reflect the brand’s dual mission: honoring the natural world while empowering women to step into their future with hope. Our goal was to craft a visual and verbal identity that felt like stepping into the curated, imperfectly perfect home of a trusted friend — deeply intentional, spiritually grounded, and full of warmth. Through storytelling, design, and soul-aligned strategy, we transformed Mother Madre from a wholesale favorite into a purpose-led DTC brand that invites connection, education, and legacy.

We envisioned the brand as a soul-filled, maternal space. Not polished to perfection, but gathered with intention. Inspired by the glow of beeswax, the wisdom of the hive, and the founder’s own lineage, we built a visual identity that feels like visiting the home of a woman you trust. The color palette draws from the earth and the wax. The typography holds space—soft, strong, and slow. It’s a brand that honors legacy, evokes ritual, and carries the kind of feminine energy that’s both ancient and expansive.
